Everything is great, here at this old Hazleton staple. Nothing compares to Senape's Pizza. Whatever you choose is fabulous!! I also enjoy the pepper salad with bread, the Salami Supreme and the Cavatell. View all feedback.
What Jacob Heimo doesn't like about Senapes Tavern Pizza:
Apparently if the oven gets full they just take the phone off the hook . Called these people for an hour straight I guess they expect me to order a pizza in person , sit in an alleyway in Hazleton or drink my life away while I wait for a pie. You know who answers the phone Vesuvios. No matter how busy they get. View all feedback.

My first time having their pizza was about 2 weeks ago.. I always saw it at the grocery store (sold boxed and cold) but didn't want to try it that way. So as I'm telling the bartender that this was my first time, the owner overhears me and comes out to talk and gives me a little history on the place.. he then tells me to hang around for a minute and goes into the kitchen and gets me another pie, this one on the house for being a newb. Totally awesome of him. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in Hazleton.. everything's original in there and they serve beer! What more could you ask for!
Staff was very friendly food was good. Not much room and very busy
This little bar and pizza joint is my favorite so far in NEPA. The sauce, the bread, the cheese blend, it's all excellent! Super friendly and helpful staff, and they were happy to answer any questions I had. They have a nice bakery around the corner as well The pizza uses a local specialty cheese called scamutz, which is a regional take on scamorsa cheese. Stretchy like mozzarella, funky like provolone. It's used by a few shops in the area, but these guys had the best I've tasted. The bread is well developed and cooked to get some color. There are a lot of local shops that are afraid to put color on the crust. This place is perfect
Our favorite for a long time, and since generations now ! The Pizzas, all the food there, are tasty, absolutely delicious and amazing. Highly recommend
