This is my favorite restaurant in Sonoma County! I like to sit in private stands and on the terrace. I always order a lemon drop Martini and food from the small plate section of the menu. Every time, spinach must be embellished with Meyer Lemon Marmelade and the Fried mussels. Last night we had the sourdough bread and Calamari. Dessert was Bourbon Financiers and French press coffee. Best Dungeness crab cake I've ever eaten. The cocktails are delicious, with fresh fruit ingredients and spirits. I recommend the raspberry Martini.

"Dry Creek Kitchen did NOT live up to expectations, which is a true bummer since we were very excited to eat here. The restaurant wasn't busy only 40% of tables were occupied yet once we were seated, it took no less than 8 minutes for someone to bring water. And after that, another 5 minutes for a waiter to greet us and begin his service. Open Table did not indicate it was only a prix fixe menu, but we were handed two options: a 5 course and a 3 course. I eventually asked if they do a la carte and the water gave us a look while frustratingly telling us he'd get the a la carte menu. In the end, we each ended up ordering the 3 course menu. The fish (halibut) was oddly shapped probably from the sous vide. It didn't affect the taste, which was quite good, but it was odd to see. The New York strip lacked flavor or any interest. We had indicated when making the reservation this was a birthday celebration but at no time did our waiter or the host mention or acknowledge that. Disappointing all around. I'm surprised the level of service was so poor. The worst kind of restaurant is one that exudes pretentiousness without any reason to back that up (in this instance, the service was awful and the food was mediocre at best while being overpriced for the overall quality of the dining experience)."
