I am not from Kentucky, so I didn't know where to go for good Mexican food. I see Agaves on my way home from work, so I decided to try it. I was amazed by the presentation of the food when it came out, the smell had my mouth watering, the taste with all the flavors reminded me of a trip to Acapulco, Mexico. What James Kuchle doesn't like about Agaves Mexican:
I ordered the fiesta nachos amd my wife ordered the some kind of quesadilla. I'm really not the pickiest eater, but neither of us were happy with the flavor. I haven't been dissatisfied with a meal eating out in a while, so this was particularly disappointing. I've eaten here before and been satisfied with the fajitas maybe I should stick to that. Great restaurant and delicious food! The staff is wonderful here and my wife and I had a great experience. I have high expectations of Mexican restaurants that offer authentic food. We have the Chilaquiles and the Burrito and both were fantastic. Very recommended!
First visit with recommendation from friends and reviews on Facebook. Came to celebrate the 21st birthday of the daughter on a Sunday in the late afternoon. Crowd was easy. The food was good. Portions were well dimensioned. There was nothing about other Mexican restaurants in the area, but you will not be disappointed if you like Mexican. Everyone in our group went full and satisfied away.
Best food you find here, we order here all the time and never had a single problem with the food. Always hot and tasty, courteous employees and fair prices. I wish they had a reward program, but otherwise the best place to go.

I never ever ever leave a google review, but I have to share this experience. BEST CHIMICHANGA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I have been to so many Mexican restaurants in my life. But omg the food is so good here. You can tell all your local Mexican restaurants sorry because if you eat here you will never look at them the same.
