"Great restaurant! situated at the main square in the gmünd; from the outside tiny looking, many discovering Aaeas/Sections inside with even a beautiful sunny green garden in the backyard. local dishes such as carp, dumblings and austrian traditional Danish and carved are on the menu. Serving are hugh, eating. is amazing tasty and service always keeps smiling. the best place to go to gmünd, it doesn't matter if for a beer, ice cream, lunch or dinner!"

"This place has one (or two? vegan main dish(es (effective August 2020 . The staff itself is not sure and the menu is confusing. The one dish, which is clarified as being vegan, is the Quinoa Sportlerpfanne mit Bohnen und Gemüse . As a side you could add some tomato or curry flavoured seitan. (On the menu there is only the tomato seitan but supposedly the availability alternates with curry flavoured seitan. It tastes good. There also is a pasta based dish with seitan on the seasonal menu being not clearly labelled as vegan. When I asked they said that probably only the seitan was vegan but not the pasta base! So, beware(! and ask them again. They also have a vegetable pizza, which you could order without the cheese. I asked if their pizza dough was vegan and they said yes but did not sound 100 convinced. Regarding salads or their version of the apple strudel, you have to ask yourself. So, in summary this place could be an emergency option for some vegan food. The big problem with this place is information . Their staff at least knows what the word vegan means, but not all of them know their own menu, let alone the incredients, very well. The menu itself also is partly confusing. But at least the staff does not look at you mockingly for asking vegan questions but tries to be supportive. Updated from previous review on 2020-08-28"

"Ich war hier schon zwei Mal essen und ich freue mich schon auf´s nächste Mal, denn jeder Besuch ist herrlich. Besonders angetan haben es mir die Desserts, aber eigentlich ist jedes Gericht eine Geschmacksexplosion!Das Ambiente finde ich persönlich sehr schön, aber es bleibt Geschmackssache. Um Anlässe zu feiern, bietet sich dieses Landgasthaus perfekt an. Ich war auch schon einmal in einer Gruppe (25 Personen) zu Gast. Wir wurden zügig bedient. Es klappte alles hervorragend. Wer irgendwo in der Nähe ist, sollte hier unbedingt einkehren. Man wird es nicht bereuen!"
