This restaurant is a top contender in the San Jacinto Valley for one of the best Mexican restaurants. Their food is excellent, authentic, and unique. It stands out from other Mexican places and will make you want to try more of their dishes. The restaurant has built a strong reputation in the community and has been in the same location for over 20 years. I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to support... What Arjun Auer doesn't like about El Jalapeno:
The atmosphere is very cozy at this Mexican restaurant. The menu offers some traditional Mexican dishes, although they may not be very unique, they are tasty. The prices are fair and they offer a variety of options. The only downside was the tostada de ceviche, which was a bit overpriced and not very impressive. View all feedback.
Fantastic food and service! this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in hemet and surroundings. very friendly and quick service with a very authentic and hometown feeling. the garnel enchiladas are absolutely amazing, one must try!
El jalapeño is a great Mexican restaurant. your food and service is excellent. the many choices on the menu offer you the opportunity to experience the Mexican food culture. the prices are appropriate for the amount of food that is served. her menu item is the upper notch. I had to take off 1 star because they're gonna take the check at the end. the waiters write on what they ordered at the check, and they take it up to the register to pay. the person in the register enters the amount on the basis of the written order. on this way a fault was caused in a charge. I was overloaded for the nachos I ordered, but only the next day when I was reconciled with my intervention, I did not notice. I did not call them to fix the situation, but when I return, I will make sure that the price on the menu is shown, the price I am charged and I think everyone who goes there should do the same.
There is no better Mexican restaurant in hemet. exceptionally well prepared meals, generous portions, fair prices. very clean, immaculate. family, good service. homemade tortillas!
New in town and there isn't many places to eat here. Thank god for jalapeño. My fiancé and I have been here about five times and hasn't disappointed once. Chili verde is so good and has so much flavor. Their asada breakfast plate was very tasty. Another asada plate with mushrooms was bursting with flavor. Salsa, beans and chips come to the table when you're seated. We always ask for extra beans cuz they are so damn good. If you're in town and looking for authentic Mexican food try it out. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
This place is my go to spot for Mexican food. It is delicious and has that Home made old school feel to it. The staff is awesome and the food comes out fast. I go several times a month.
