We (family of 15 plus dog) called yesterday morning at the end of our vacation in devon before all of our separated go away. the personal could not have been more helpful and accommodation for us. unintrusive music and song from a gent playing a uke made our very unhurried visit a complete joy. many thanks."

"We made a special trip up for my son’s birthday and planned our whole day around having lunch here. I even messaged them the day before to double check they’d be doing food (to which they replied, “yes serving lunch from 12pm” . We arrived shortly after 1pm to be told there was no food this lunchtime as they had a private function on!! To say we were disappointed was an understatement. It put a downer on our day, made us rearrange our plans last minute and we had the inconvenience of then having to drive around looking for somewhere else to have a very late lunch with 3 hungry children in tow! It would of been understandable if we had just turned up but the fact I’d messaged the day before and been told they would be doing food, surely they knew they had a function on???!!"

"I have been a few times, and am a lover of all that is Italian. The chef trained in Italy and the food is of a high quality and superbly delicious. Good selection and a lot of wonderful seafood dishes. The hospitality of the staff is incredible, I cannt fault the place, and highly recomend it."

"Very cosy restaurant with delicious food. They were very busy when we went in so I think the service was a bit slow (slow to clear the table so mains took a while to come). We had a lovely meal overall, thanks! Vegetarian options: We had 2 vegans in our party and there were lots of things to choose for them. Parking: Road parking is difficult outside the restaurant. We had to park quite far away and walk. Service: Dine in"
