"Gordon Ramsay, move over, there is a Codfather in town.Delightful Cod Fish and Chips. Fish was fresh and prepared to perfection. Chips were delicious. The owner successfully transports his visitors to the UK with the delectable, traditional dishes he serves.Price is very reasonable (about 15 dollars for cod fish and chips combo with a drink)."

"As a long time customer of Ferraro’s dating back to the late 90s, I have never had a bad experience. I brought two buddies after riding up from Phoenix and raved. I was worried I built it up too much, but to say the least, I probably didn’t do it justice. Both guys loved their food. One commented it was the best Gnocchi he’s ever had. Every trip I take to Vegas includes at least one meal here."

"Great spot for coffee in the arts district. They roast their beans in house. Really tasty flavor combinations for their specialty lattes I want to try the iced miso caramel latte next time for sure. It’s a popular spot but there is lots of seating so you should be able to find a space. There is a small parking lot to the side of the shop but it fills up fast so you may have to pay for street parking. Most of the seating is indoor but there are a few benches if you want to sit outside. The vibe is very casual it’s a great place to sit and hang out for a bit. If you go for breakfast I would highly recommend the herb avocado toast it’s grilled sourdough with loads of seasoning, herbs, and red pepper oil. My only ding was the almond macadamia latte the milk was a little watery so it made for just an okay drink. I liked my husband’s Mexican mocha better and would probably get something different next time. Enjoy!"

"In a foodie town like Las Vegas, a thirty seater is the very definition of exclusivity, but this simple, strip mall, trattoria is as unassuming as it is excellent. Everything is made to order including the lasagna. The salad is expertly tossed and worthy of actual excitement. When you enter you are likely to hear the loud ish repetition of the chef tenderizing veal cutlets with a mallet esque opened palm. Dishes stacked so high on a countertop as to obscure the kitchen will rattle just a bit in a call and response to this rhythm. And if you know the tell tale signs of place that knows how to do it right, you won't want it any other way. Portions are big (but not impossible) and the prices are shocking low. Service is attentive and professional, which is almost miraculous considering that this is a true mom and pop operation (with junior pitching in, when available). They have a B.Y.O.B. policy so you can bring your favorite barollo, sangiovese, chianti, or lambrusco to pair with what the locals will tell you is the best Italian food in town. Locals are rarely wrong, and this place is hard to beat. Reservations are a must. The decor is very low fi, so if you are looking for fancy digs or romantic ambience look elsewhere. But if you miss the vibe of your favorite Little Italy hole in the wall and want food fit for the Godfather, look no further than Los Olivos. Most of your fellow diners already know each other from years of individual patronage beside one another. That kind of loyalty is earned over time and consistency."
