What R likes about Kotoy Japanese Fusion:
Mixed feelings about this place. Giving it 4 stars because I really like the food and the location. However the servers almost seem disinterested sometimes. They are slow, and some don 't seem to know typical things like a Sapporo beer?!?! On the other hand, the sushi has been on point every time! All in all, I strongly recommend it, as long as you go with patience and lots of extra time. View all feedback.

I was excited to try some sushi and Japanese in San José and have some sake after missing my flight out(doh! . I tried to order. I was informed there was no miso soup. Ok I’ll try the ramen. None of that either. Ok lomito with teriyaki it is then with maguro side. The beef was overdone and tough. Flavor was good. The first tuna was pleasant and I was enjoying it with some sake. Absolutely great Japanese food. I confess I ate there five times in 6 days. Ramen, sushi, katsu, tempura all good.

"Vietnamese inspired restaurant with vegan and vegetarian options. it feels like it's on the lighter side, especially as it controls the amount of sauce that goes into it. the con is that their sauce mix would probably not taste as good as if they only noodle it for them for the rolling were not traditional bun reisnudeln, and the heh was quite dry. to visit a more beautiful place, but not my favorite meal. many potentials that have not yet been realized."

"I love lunch dishes. They are a reasonable size and the price is according to their size and ingredients. It seems to me that the menu needs a revamp with other dishes. It seems to me that if you just want to have a coffee, there should be a little more sweet and savory pastry options. The place is very small (maximum 5 tables) but they always keep it clean. "Ok. I love this place. I came in to see if incould use my Google pay and between my Spanish and their English, and just trying it... I figured out I could! The staff is wonderful. I had a vanilla decaf latte and it was yummy. And a croissant sandwhich. And a cookie. If I'm ever back here, I will definitely try it again."
