What Jam4toast doesn't like about The Cafe And Tearooms On Bridge St:
I was on a journey with very little time to stop but very hungry. I asked in the shop opposite if they did takeaway sanwiches. They very nicely said they didn 't, but the cafe across the road, ie the Pembridge Cafe, did. So I went to this cafe and asked at the counter and, fair play, the woman was flustered, but in a very sharp, angry, tone she said 'I 'm far too busy to do takeaways! Visited with my husband on a sunny day. Lovely cakes and sandwiches on offer. Coffee was lovely. Small cafe but very clean and tidy. I'm a keen foodie and love to visit quaint coffee shops being in the trade myself. The girls were very friendly, the only wee small gripe I have is the lady seemed a little uptight View all feedback.
