Visited with my youngest child on the off chance we would get a light lunch on a Friday. I had scallops and he had mac n cheese. As a connoisseur of mac n cheese he said it was the best he’s ever tasted! Great meal, attentive staff, value for money in a beautiful setting. Stayed here as I have done a few times due to travelling but it was too noisy. I could unfortunately hear every snore and more from the room back to back with me and I was honestly exhausted from travelling and attending a family funeral. Food is 5* staff are 5* but sleep is 2* on this occasion. read more.
