"It was good to see a vegan menu - I had beautiful Indian seasoned potato and chickpea cake with salad n salsa. My non vegan friend also had a meal from the vegan menu they enjoyed. Delicious and well presented food with courtesy and friendly staff"

"Unfortunately this takeaway had no flavour or taste, I can't work out how you can make something taste of nothingness, even the chunks of onion tasted like water. A very disappointing meal, but the service from the delivery driver was great as they phoned before they left and as they were approaching and they were very pleasant and cheerful. unfortunately we couldn't eat much of the food as it was so tasteless. very disappointing"

"We really enjoyed our visit to this traditional pub. There was a good range of pub grub on the menu including faggots and some lovely pies and it was very reasonably priced. Really clean and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit."

"How things can change up or down last year this was a great coffee bar, well trained excellent staff, perfect coffee and a super atmosphere. Last week was just about one of the worst coffee stops ever. Rubbish coffee in paper cups made by staff who just did not seem to care. It is not difficult to make decent coffee why do so many chains just not get it !! ?? They expect us to pay good money for rubbish service, OK well just vote with your feet. Won't be here again."

"We came for breakfast and had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the full English. Both were very generous portions and tasted amazing. The staff were polite and there’s a lovely garden area at the back. Would definitely recommend and would go back again to sample some more of the menu"

"We went for lunch on Sunday. There was no menu so had no choice. The food wasn't great, i would describe it as a poor school dinner. We were greeted with loud music and a over friendly landlady . We have been to this pub many years ago and had a pleasant experience but obviously lchanged hands now. Won't be going back there again. Shame really as this is a very nice pub in a wonderful area."

"Food in all sauce tasted the same. Chips were bland. Prawn crackers very greasy and didn't taste of prawn. Boiled plain rice not fluffy just a lump, egg fried rice nothing in it no egg just yellow clump. Food very poor hard to tell what dishes were by 2 letters scribbled on box, £160 spent on takaway, poor ingredients and poor cooking.House speciality Steak not beef steak more like cheap cut like knuckle very expensive. Only duck ok but that was it out of mixed variey of dishes as you can see by price!"
