In a improbable place along the canal that goes to the port of Caen. (crossing Herouville St Clair being an almost depressing experience). The decor is modern with a good taste (but slightly cheap). The welcome is friendly but the ambiance between the staff is...degrading the experience. The head waiter lacks discretion and gives orders to his colleagues from across the restaurant. The food is solid good from a chef... View all feedback.
What Thierry Gonzalez doesn't like about L'Espérance:
3 menus at 17 euros and 2 to 22 euros: 3 fish and 2 meats: too unequal plates: fish dishes: lack a filling, fade fish; Lamb mouse too copyy. for desserts: nothing exceptional. The service: wine on foot of the glass.
Careful and careful service. Inventive and original kitchen. very good address
A great classic this small gourmet restaurant. I'm not gonna find the wonderful service. I'm not gonna praise the beautiful frame on the canal. I will simply emphasize the association of flavors in different dishes. came without hesitation at noon for the menu of the day.
What a shame !!!!Meeting without flavor.... too cold entry for the panna cotta;; idem for the main daurade!!!!Speed in the rosé wine...Birthday evening really spoiled....People's friendliness ...Heureusement ....
A restaurant always at the top, a refined lunch for a very attractive price. To discover absolutely
Awesome. Good reception, excellent meals and full of good attention. Restaurant I recommend a hundred percent. Thanks to the whole team
