"We left yesterday on the way to hexham on half a day. free parking on the back were very appreciated and we made ourselves hungry inward. we were warmly welcomed by our server who sat while we decided in the varied menu. Cod chips and muddy excavated, small cod chips and muddy excavated, large scampi and chips, as well as salt and peppersquid, chips muddy excavated and curry sauce were ordered and we waited in anticipation while we enjoyed our drinks. the food arrived immediately and looked and smells amazing and oh my goodness, it tasted of fishy sky. the chips were 'proper chips' crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, the fish was crispy, golden and juicy and the mushy baptize, oh the mushy baptize. true perfection, best I ever tasted, sweet, not stodgy, just smart magnificence. we all enjoyed our meal, I also tasted the squid and curry sauce and all were excellent! Many thanks to all those who make our visit so a highlight of the day, we will be back!"
