"Lovely bar with an eclectic mix of curios, good selection of drinks including real ales. Simple bar menu but it is home cooking at it's very best. A warm welcome from everyone. It also has a great beer garden. Wish we were staying in the village longer as would definitely use the Crown again."

"Good selection of beer, very good eating too very reasonable trips, always a good pub to fall. often busy the week, which is a good sign of quality eating beer and excellent management. quiz nights (not my thing) are popular and actually a good time to sit, drink beer and listen to the friendly village mother. my choice of the pub when visiting medomsley."
