Chaat wasn't as good today as it sometimes is from this store. The right balance of the ingredients is what makes a good chat. Perhaps the person making it was not as good at their task. Something was off but overall not bad View all feedback.
What Pra K doesn't like about Bengali Sweet Shop:
The food is delicious, but there is a very small portion of channa provided with the two large bhaturas. It is only enough for one bhatura! Not worth the price that is being charged. The portion of channa should be at least one and a half to two times more than what is currently given. View all feedback.
The flavor was good, but the portion of chickpeas was too small and the two large pieces of bread were difficult to finish alongside it.
Hit the spot! Totally well made chaat today/ 5 star and chutney's were good amount.
I have tried this place several times? only the paratha (flat bread are worth it ? rest of the items are unhygienic and not fresh. Recently we ordered North Indian thali and it made everyone sick ? Also, there were only two items in Thali( unheardof?. i will try to avoid this place as there are so many other options in that area.
Not that best customer service, it?s always too busy and there isn?t enough staff to handle the business. I specifically asked for my food to not be spicy or have onions and both requests were disregarded because they were just too busy. I?ve gone herefor ages but at this point it?s not worth always getting a wrong order. Sweets are good, but not worth the long waits.
Great parantha?s. Bengali sweet shop has good punjabi style cholla bhatura also. Mostly a self serve type indian restaurant. We picked up a few paranthas, spinach and alloo-pyaaz potato and onions) delicious ????
