"We're going through here at night in hico. the people there were really nice a beautiful historical place. I was looking for a good steak dinner was really surprised at the cost, actually most expensive steak I saw. "I usually love Chicken Express, but this location left a lot to be desired i just got a couple of sides- the okra was cold- i ended up throwing half of it away because it was leaving oily residue in my mouth. It looked like, and the temp suggests that it was prepared for someone else and for whatever reason, they didn't take it."

"Driving through Hico and craving some donuts and kolaches so it was a no brainer to stop at Country Donuts. Friendly staff and great donuts. If I’m in the area again, I’ll be back. Maybe a little crazy to make the drive just for a donut."
