we were looking for a place to stay while we took part in an event and tried a few local places. that was the only one who answered her phone, and I'm so glad they did. a beautiful view of the reservoir and a warm welcome was given by people and canines. a beautiful teekanne was brewed when we arrived and james and joanne were both very friendly and helpful. the rooms were very modern and comfortable. we really enjoy... read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in pleasant weather, And into the accessible rooms also come customers with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What User doesn't like about The Old House:
Second visit to the tea room side of the business and i have to say its gone downhill a bit, so will probably be our last visit. The outside seating area all looked a bit unkempt and needed a good clean and sweep ! No...menus on the tables or any sort of condiments.
