What User likes about Sanibel's:
she hasn't been here since the pandemic. forget how good it was. had a few people to feed, so got several fried oysters, a baby-flounder and a few cats. we gave them all out and had them family style. they were all good, but the oysters were enormous and tasty and the victor. the luxuriant puppies that look like wobble rings were not great, but probably not good traveling. a separate entrance is something that should... What User doesn't like about Sanibel's:
The carry out service was good, but the food was hugely disappointing. I can live with the soggy shrimp. That happens when you close hot fried foods up in a styrofoam container. I cannot overlook the grit. I can only assume the shrimp was not adequately cleaned. There is nothing like biting down on grit to ruin your appetite. I ate the potato and trashed 95% of the shrimp.
