"In town visiting with the grandkids and stopped in for dinner. Good kids menu, lots of items for $6 with one side and a drink. Chicken tenders for the younger one, ribs for the older one. Plenty of food for each. I had the 1/3 rack of ribs, smoky and tender! My wife ordered a salad with smoked brisket, large portion. Service was good and friendly. Lots of people doing takeout, dining room was only 1/4 full on a Friday night. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Gainesville!"

"This place is the real deal. Hot pastrami was true NY style down the untoasted rye and stryofoam plate. The smell in the restaurant is like walking through the gates of heaven. Nice folks. Food is awesome. Unique restaurant for Gainesville and a real treat."

"We were excited to check this place as this is such a small city, this restaurant offers a whole vegan section on its menu. when we saw how inclusive they were, we had high hopes. the restaurant itself has a sweet diner vibe. Unfortunately, the whole food we got was from the brand and ultimately disappointing especially for the price. we the cauliflower appetizer and can note that the sauce is delish, but the cauliflower was nothing special, it had no flour coating, it was not overall well cooked it was simply coated with a Chinese style sauce. the two plates we got were very unsatisfactory. my partner got the vegan jambalaya and hoped to get these spices/taste that they would expect in a Caribbean dish. this dish tasted like an Italian dish served on the pure white rice. the meat had little to no seasoning and was cooked in what seemed tomato sauce and paste. the vegan mac and cheese was like a pasta mixed in nacho cheese, with cut tomaten an Italian crumbled. Both of these dishes were $15-20 dollars each were not worth this price. we both felt tied to leave this restaurant. if they need something in an prise, this can work, but let them make their expectations to the door."
