"Visiting my home town after 40 years away and a nice surprise to see things I still recognised as well as things new. Thaidee was one of the new things and what a nice surprise. The food was excellent, with wonderful flavours and fresh ingredients. I settled for a change cken and coconut flavoured soup for a starter followed by a green curry. Both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and great company answering questions about the food and listening to my reminiscing about the town I left in the 1980s. The restaurant also serves take away food, but I will be returning to eat at their tables. "What an incredible restaurant. The attention to detail that goes into each dish is out of this world. The kombucha is a personal favourite and the frangipan dessert blew me away. Staff are brilliant and food even better."

"Such a beautiful meal for my birthday here last night. All staff were so friendly and Sharon looking after us was so hospitable and lovely! 6 of us had a 3 course meal and every dish that each of us had was just perfect. I’m going to start recommending you to everyone. So important to support local businesses and even more so when they’re so fab! Thank you for a delicious meal, we’ll definitely be back"

"Due to covid restrictions the restaurant is only supplying pre prepared takeaway meals, but what a treat. Simple re heat instructions left us with a superb meal for two, of five star quality, for less than thirty pounds. I have no idea how they do it.If you're considering a takeaway, give it a try, you're in for a real treat. Many thanks to staff at On the Hill."
