Been here a few times and we thought it’s a good little place for a quick bite and coffee. Cakes are good as always. The meal we ordered was surprisingly delicious. The waiter that served us was polite, helpful and friendly. Asked for chilli powder or flakes and he came back fast with the flakes. Hot food came out nice and warm. Enjoyed our time here. The only recommendation is that if they could add pictures to thei... View all feedback.
What FrancescaCortevesio doesn't like about Mary's Highgate:
I had higher expectations for this restaurant from the well-known brand. We tried the Megan and the Chad burgers. The meat substitutes were good, but both burgers only had one slice of tomato and two small lettuce leaves each. The Chad burger was saved by the "awesome sauce," without it, it would have been bland. The fries were crispy and tasty. Unfortunately, they were out of onion rings, which I wanted to try. Over... Actually, I expected a little more of the brand behind this joint! we ordered the megan and the chad. the meat substitute was nice, but in both burgers we had a piece of tomaten and each 2 small salat leaves. if the chad did not have the “axis sauce” I would just have eaten brot and fake chicken. the pommes were crispy and good. I wanted to order tweezers, but not available. overall I am not satisfied with the place. I try another location
Wow, I'll be right on that, that's my new favorite Burger girl! whether the full of plant-based Burger options, the cool music choice or the friendly staff, this place is a winner.
This restaurant always delivers an excellent experience with a great atmosphere and top-notch service. Their Banana bread is the best I've ever had, and their breakfast and lunch options are equally delicious.
At breakfast today, I ordered a hot chocolate at our table of five. The waiter arrived with maybe two cups and leaned right down the table with my drink across everyone and expected me to accept it. This, despite there being plenty of room to walk alongside the table. The restaurant was busy but not frantic by any means. As it turned out, my hot chocolate was lukewarm and I returned it to a waitress. It arrived some time later and the same waiter stood at the end of the table prepared to reach over us again. I asked him to walk down with it, as I felt (not only that it was rude and unprofessional) that it was an OH&S problem, reaching over customers with hot drinks. He just put it down at the head of the table and ask my friends to pass it down. Extraordinarily unprofessional. My friends don't want to go back to Mary Street again. I have to say my breakfast dish was delicious, though.
Have visited this restaurant whenever I visit Perth for many years. The food is always so flavourful. It hides itself as a simple bakery but serves up 5 star dishes. Service is fantastic and staff are great.
