"Stopped here on a multi day cycling tour cold and wet with no booking. We were thoroughly welcomed and immediately directed to the lovely comfy lounge to warm up and to wait for the restaurant to open. Lovely room and great food with good vegetarian options. Service and welcome from reception to all of the restaurant and breakfast staff was absolutely brilliant. Everyone was just so nice. The hotel should be very proud and of everybody that works there. Thanks for a great stay and would highly recommend."
