Lovely little cafe, good honest food and friendly owner.

the best caffe where I was in Scotland. friendly and accommodating service. delicious freshly cooked tradional food and a large cup of tea.

in the tuck shop and caffe, in newtonmore, there was a delicious meal. the owner/cook was very friendly and helpful. well done.

"This looks quite run down on the outside, however the food and the friendliness of the staff far outweigh mere aesthetics. The chefs was chatty and interested if we were enjoying our food. We had a laugh over cake names as we were paying I...would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this eatery."

"A lovely meal out. Staff were very friendly, food was very tasty, and all reasonably priced. Can't ask for more from a hotel in a small village. We would happily return to sample some more items from the menu. It is also dog friendly in the bar area."

"Had a lovely Sirloin Steak, the lady serving brought it out to me and was concerned that it was a little underdone for my medium tastebuds....... she was right, no quips, no drama, took it away and literally a minute later was back again with a perfect Medium Sirloin, definitely will call in again. The only problem, I may still be too full for breakfast! ?"
