We love this place. I have the grilled chicken sandwich and my boys have the homemade pizza. It was all really good. I also have a pecan pie for Thanksgiving and it was delicious! I was told by friends that I had a very good hamburger, but I had a hamburger the day before, so I decided for the French dip with roast beef and unfortunately I can say that the roast beef was dry and had not much taste, I wish I had got the hamburger. "A party of six, we all ordered different dishes and each of us was very highly pleased with our meals. The house white wines were good and the cocktails delicious. The use of potato sticks with several of the Cuban dishes seemed strange at first but it worked! Oysters were pricey but nicely sized and delicious! Highly recommended!"

"Great place, great food and the margaritas are fantastic. We always look forward to eating here every time we come to the highlands. "OUTSTANDING meal! Appetizer, mains, desserts, and drinks were all perfection. Service was the definition of southern hospitality. We sat on the covered patio and didn't feel rushed, even as things got busier around us. Alcohol-free options were easy here, as the bartender made every drink to order and was happy to recommended several NA options. The martini-style drink does not contain any alcohol and wasn't overly sweet. Divine!"

"Have been a few times before but put off this time by a couple of things. We literally had to flag someone down to get waited on after about 10-15 minutes, it was busy but NOT crazy busy. Several service people kept passing us right by with zero acknowledgement. This was very annoying since service all around us looked very attentive Other issues: they brought out our appetizer same exact time as our salads, very limited bourbon selection, really CHEESY piano player playing very basic old fashioned music selections. In general, the place caters to the 75 yr old Highlands regulars. The service and food timing issues not forgivable for a $150+ dinner for two. So, they have moved to bottom of our consideration list next time we are in the area. On plus side, the food was pretty good."
