I am a big fan of Itsu and mainly use the place opposite JL in Reading. Kokoro is similar in some ways (food offerings etc. but not quite as good. Portion control is better and the open kitchen allows you to see your meal as it is being assembled (Itsu does this in their kitchen most of the time However, the meat and overall dining offering is better in Itsu. What henrystayover doesn't like about Kokoro:
First experience was great taste, big portions, and smart packaging. Second experience was incredibly poor. Order was wrong. We called no apology. They said that they would cook and deliver correct order. No delivery and no call to explain. Left voicemail no response. Got refund. Will never use again which is a shame as their Katsu curry tastes better than the nearest similar Asian restaurant (name behind with W). View all feedback.
My experience was absolutely fantastic! The service was amazing; they really take great care of you. It's a wonderful place to visit with friends and family.
Kokoro is one of my favorite places to get takeout. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are great for the price.
