Beautifully presented pub in great location. Amazing Sunday lunch with big portions of quality food and terrific service. Booked for 4 effortlessly on line. This was a mid point for four of us to meet up with respective journeys from the south coast and East Midlands . Will definitely return. View all feedback.
What richard s doesn't like about The Gate:
Worst food l have ever had the misfortune to experiance.This was the third time l have visited and it has become steadily worse.Not my choice of venue so had to suffer it.To explain a little.The meal was definately reheated ,probably microwaved judging by the rock hard vegtables and meat that had not not come from a freshly cooked Turkey.Service slow food was only just warm when it arrived.Not at all reasonably price...
