When I inquired about vegan options, they marked each one with a green pen. Despite specifying that I am vegan and do not want fish, the wakame ramen I ordered appeared to contain fish cake. Although they were polite in remaking the dish, it raised concerns about the authenticity of other vegan options. The ramen broth lacked complexity and while it tasted vegan, it was unexciting. The dishes are all incredibly tasty, with fresh desserts and tables stocked with condiments like hot oil, dried garlic, and soy sauce. Daiichi is a fantastic spot to enjoy a satisfying vegetarian meal with friends.

Upon mentioning we were vegan, they promptly provided us with a color-coded menu featuring numerous plant-based options. I opted for the kimchi ramen with tofu, and it was delicious. The service was both friendly and efficient. In addition to ramen, they offered fried rice and noodle dishes. The restaurant appeared to cater mainly to locals and had minimalistic décor.
