Fabulous experience my partner, Brenda Horwood, described it, accurately in my opinion, as faded grandeur . The receptionist/barman (a tall, slim young bloke, on our stay (Mon 6th Nov, last week) was great, hadn 't worked there long, very professional, and friendly. Hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. Smell of damp everywhere, signs of mildew everywhere. On a plus side bed was comfy and food reasonable. Personally I won't be recommending hotel to any of my friends. Rooms: 1 Service: 5 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet View all feedback.
