What Kevon Christiansen doesn't like about Apple Peddler No 7:
Cute little dated diner in the small town of Burns, OR. 80?s/90?s vibes. No frills. Bathrooms were shot out and out of soap. Food was good. The servers were super friendly and the cook was doing his best in back to get to food to everyone in a timely matter with being by himself. View all feedback.
WARNING!!! Do not eat here!!! I wouldn't give stars to this place if that was an option. We waited twenty minutes for drinks and an hour for our food before we left. No food. The old lady who is responsible for getting our water/clarified tables was extremely rude. She hated her job and complained to other costumes. Very unprofessional. The place needs a big deep clean. The tables were sticky and the walls and windows were covered with spider nets and dead bugs. On the floors there were frets. Her chairs fell apart. It looked like they were short. If this is true, someone must take responsibility and limit how many tables they use and spend waiting times. The poor server looked so overwhelmed! So many costumes were extremely annoyed around us, there was literally a line just to pay your ticket. I would also NOT consider this place FAMILY FRIENDLY. We were the only table with children throughout the restaurant, many old grim people who showed up with us every time our child made every sound. I honestly think everyone was just upset because nobody serves anything to eat. After leaving the restaurant, we stopped at the local grocery store and had a nice conversation with a local. He said we didn't miss each other. He said the food is not so great, and the wait is alway terrible. Not recommended.
The pros: the staff is friendly and hard-working, the restaurant was clean although some seats were worn and patched, the food is good for diner food, you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner at anytime. The cons: it is obvious that the owner is not putting any money into the place. Aside from the seats, the ice maker has been broken for two years and staff have to run to the store for ice. They were out of most of the desserts. And there was one waitress and one cook for approximately 15 tables. The cook had to help bus tables. I can overlook the decor and the slow service due to lack of staffing. But the neglect is uncalled for
Great food ; great place to spend family time. I was in a road trip to Salt Lake City and stopped to get breakfast and it was a pleasant experience ; we got out food in decent time ; was warm and delicious; we got coffee refills one after another and I loved it was hot and fresh. Could given 5 stars but bathrooms need some maintenance not only cleaning; some pipes were leaking and need some paint in walls; definitely more attention since it?s located in a good stop for travelers
The help could have been a little more customer oriented, as in if you dont have something you could offer something else or a substitute instead of a running comentary as an excuse. The ham and eggs were pretty much on par with how it should be cooked, except the medium cooked eggs came out over easy
