Found this place while strolling through the small town. Were drawn to it because it looked nice and we saw smoke from what seemed to be the grill. Smelled good when we came close. It was quite busy, but they did have a table for...us. Food steak and schnitzel was really good, the Spätburgunder was very tastful and we enjoyed the live music from the guy singing and playing the guitar
I went for lunch with a friend at a time when quite a few other restaurants were closed due to holidays. I cannot compare it with other place in the same area. The food arrived fresh, the service was very good and the prices fair....Again, keep in mind there are very few budget restaurants in this area. Cozy and clean
Dined at Ristorante Holzschopf bei Franco two different nights recently. The pizzas both nights were excellent...great crust and a really tasty cheese. The lasagna bolognese was also excellent. The hot bruschetta reminded me of Monday Night Football bread...in a good way. The place is cozy...and the staff friendly. Good idea to either eat early or make a reservation. The place filled up pretty good on Sunday evening after
