This has been our third visit to Chessie 's since it opened up. We really enjoy the menu. One comment for improvement. My wife and I love the grits with the shrimp and sausage. This time the grits were quite dry and pasty vice more creamy as has been our experience in the past. Our preference is for the grits to be more creamy vice pasty. Still good. Out of Chicken and Dumplings on an early Saturday night. BBQ Shrimp and Cheesy Grits was really salty and the grits were not creamy nor did they taste like cheese. Burger was good but the onion rings were frozen version. The blackened trout was okay...wine selection was not a selection... HOWEVER...the espresso creme brûlée was delicious! We'll try again when the menu changes for the quarter. View all feedback.
