"We were a group of friends looking to experience a meal at the Scala with one guest having a birthday. And it was our last dinner in Europe after a 12-day visit including cruising the Rhine. A beautiful unique setting. Menu was varied and provided each guest with the ability to order their own specialty. One guest was gluten-free and this was readily accommodated. Each of our 3-courses was expertly prepared and the food was simply terrific and met expectations for a high-end restaurant. Courses were properly timed. Can surely recommend and would return should I come back to Lucerne."

"What a wonderful place! Food is delicious, and worth travelling to the station to eat. Big variety of vegetarian mainly vegan dishes, innovatively prepared. After decades of struggling to find decent food at train stations anywhere in the world finally this sumptuous vegetarian buffet.
