Great cafe. Tucked away off the Main Street the food is excellent and service is great. Really loved the corn fritters with extra bacon.
I have the same breakfast in EVERY cafe so I can have more of an objective take, and plus I can also eat scrambled eggs in my sleep :) Love 'em and this
Oh dang, for some reason I'd stayed away from the Cri because I thought they were still under old management nope.

"It was a chance visit if one considers that we have joined another family for dinner and we had no previous booking. the employees were attentive, as we had 2 small children and some specific questions about the menu that were addressed earlier. the food and the cocktails were both extraordinary. we had a great time and must thank the staff to take care of us. these cool margarita and negro were the highlights"

"Absolutely amazing experience. We turned up without a booking on a Saturday night, they managed to squeeze us in.I had the swordfish, my partner had the vegan tofu main.Both dishes were truly outstanding, flavours and portion sizes were perfect.Service was lovely, they explained which wines were vegan when asked.Would very much visit here again."

"I really enjoy Thai Veg Hut although I was shocked today that upon asking there was no GF option, as the Green curry although generally GF was not today. There was nothing to indicate that it had changed today and my concern was that...regular Gluten Free Thai Veg Hut customers may just assume that it was. I think that is important that if you advertise as GF, make sure you have at least one option every day or make it very clear otherwise."

"Came here looking for a good piece steak and I was not disappointed. the 35 days dry aged was cooked for perfection with the amazing trufflemash. I'm really critical of having steak, but this place. I have no complaints. to come back in any case."

"We found this place whilst we (3 of us) were in town as part of birthday celebrations for my partner and shopping for a few things before heading north. The brazilian lady who served us was lovely, friendly and very efficient. The brunch menu catered...for a variety of tastes and was very reasonably priced. The owner of the cafe served our meals and again was very friendly and looked after our needs well. It was popular with locals and the meals and coffee were delicious and we'd certainly visit again next time we visit Hobart . Well done guys and thanks for your efforts we really appreciated it and enjoyed our meals."

"A great place to have a coffee.. The service was alright, when i was there waiting for my friend. I even had a sweet and savoury muffins from the menu. I would say it wasn't bad but it was little pricey compared to other cafe that i have been too.."
