Clean, fresh and tasty and judging by the queue to purchase (which moved quickly) popular with locals as well.

The trevella chips were amazing. Best fish chips ever. Visited this place twice and couldn’t fault the meal either time. Cooked to order and not long to wait.

We visited flippers on a recent stay in Hobart. Such wonderful service and yummy hot chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on a cold autumn day! Thank you.

Really enjoyed quality fish and chips with some calamari and prawn cutlets sitting on the wharf in the sunshine. Good quality

"While the business is still new and finding its feet, the staff are all very friendly and the food is definitely something not to miss. The curries are fairly priced and we were offered some extra rice for free when we ran out while dining in. Would really love to see this business succeed as it is run by lovely people and would hate to see them go - so go in and give them some support! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and perfect for a nice winter meal. Will definitely become a regular here!"

"This is a fancy chinese restaurant. We had dim sum on Sunday. The dim sum items are delicious and authentic. The egg custard is really good. The staff are very professional, responsive and attentive. If you are willing to spend a bit more for a good chinese food, you should try this one."

"The restaurant is attractive and has an interesting history as a former jam factory. The fixed price menu (AD$100) was selected by the chef and we opted for the five wine pairing menu (AD $75). Each dish is small, delicious and artfully presented. In general..., the wines paired beautifully with the exception of the Fume Blanc and smoked goat curd- which overpowered the wine. Restaurant building has an interesting history involving convict labor and jam factory."

"A warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere. From the moment we were greeted at the door, to the time we left, service was exceptional! Food is sensational. Great menu with a huge selection of wines too. We had the mixed grill, lemonata chicken, prawn saganaki and grilled octopus everything was cooked to perfection. Real home style cooking at very reasonable prices. The tzatziki is so good!! You can tell a lot of love goes into this food. The staff make this place though, so friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Just ran in and picked up takeaway while staying in Hobart and was super impressed. Delish food and really quick! Would recommend. Also I'm a veggie and there was a great selection tofu with peanut sauce so good."
