"Loved it!! We had brunch here today and it was fabulous. The service was great and the food arrived at our table very hot and quite quickly scallop pie, porridge with figs and an egg tart. We had previously read great reviews about Jackman McRoss and the cafe certainly lived up to these reviews. Definitely worth a visit."

"It is a must place to have food if you love Indian food. I went there few days back and it was an amazing experience. I ordered the Momo platter which is a combination of different types of momos and even though it is a starter I think i can have it as main as well it was so delicious and authentic. Tastes amazing, be it the deep fried ones which are crispy or the soft steamed ones, truly amazing. In the main I tried the Non-veg thali, and my God it was so damn good. Halfway through I was full because they serve generously but the taste was so amazing that I couldn't stop. Special mention about the Goat curry. It was the best goat curry I have ever had which includes all the goat curies I have tried back in India. Finally try out the desert called "Jerry" (which in India we call as "Jalebi") which is a special desert and I think they are the only one who serves it in Hobart. It is one of my favorite and I wasn't expecting it to be so good in here but turned out it was completely authentic and just fascinates your taste buds the same way as it would if you have it back in India. They have set the standard for Indian food in Hobart so high and I can't imagine any other Indian restaurant in Hobart catching up with them soon. Although I would love to be wronged."

"While the business is still new and finding its feet, the staff are all very friendly and the food is definitely something not to miss. The curries are fairly priced and we were offered some extra rice for free when we ran out while dining in. Would really love to see this business succeed as it is run by lovely people and would hate to see them go - so go in and give them some support! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and perfect for a nice winter meal. Will definitely become a regular here!"

"In The Hanging Garden is like a food court with an excellent bar like atmosphere. The food choices are all excellent and with a bar on both levels it is an excellent place to have a nice drink with friends. Late on a Saturday night there is music on the lower level to create a club like atmosphere, so there is something for everyone here."

"This small restaurant in West Hobart does not have meat dishes, only past and pizza, but they are soooo good. They have a very busy take-away business which is always a good sign for quality pizzas. Domenic and his staff run a very nice establishment with excellent service and very good value meals."

"Because we were not very hungry due to a late Arvo oyster bending session at blue eye. we came for some sushi rolls and entries. their roles were huge and really filling out. our Sydney restaurants are really embarrassed. we had the Suminato roll, the soft shell crab and the salmon Aburi roll. all highly recommended. the children wanted something udon, but they had only one option for udon and even that was sufficient and large amount recommended!"

"Made lunch reservation. seated quickly and allowed to split bill. food was delicious and fresh. i ordered 3 types of nigiri and was very pleased with them all. colleagues ordered bento, ramen, and sushi roll and everyone very impressed with quality and tastiness."
