Had a take away. Food was absolutely incredible. I have never had food from this Chinese before. I don't live in the area but was there visiting family when we decided to get food from here. I would say this was the best Chinese I had in years. All family really enjoyed. View all feedback.

We ordered a takeaway for collection Saturday 5th November. The bill came to £160 for 8 people which we thought was steep. When collected and started to eat, the chicken dishes were awful with fatty chicken, which was tough and chewy, the shredded duck had green all over it which we threw away have pictures but can't post) The beef dish had a habit in it so couldn't eat that either. "We had an enjoyable lunch at the 'spirits tasting ' event, the starter was particularly good. We were given a voucher as a gift and had not previously dined at Haywards. We enjoyed the fixed lunch menu and the presentation from Adam representing Essex Spirits. However, we would have preferred a wine tasting experience as we rarely drink spirits."

"I enjoy ting tong thai for years, delicious authentic food and the service is always fantastic. while I understand and appreciate the price increase, my favorite salt and pepper spells were the half of the size they were earlier, not crispy batter bits and I hardly had a hunch in the green curry. yet a 4/5 given, they do not want the star rating to have a negative influence, it was simply not as good as before. increase them the price and I will pay him, increase them the price and make the portions smaller, then make it difficult to return. love what you do, wish you all good."

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."
