Paulaner Zum Landskneckt - Hoexter

We were four in the Paulaner for dinner. We had ordered three different dishes. After a short time it was served. All dishes were served in a pan in the menu). The croquettes float in the sauce and were not crispy. It didn't look very appetizing, the loin was somewhere under cheese and sauce. The other dishes were like that. The pigshaxe without bone had a thick bone in both pans, the soft rind floats in a lot of a thin sauce. It was similar to the third court. The supplemental salad was very good and fresh.

Sauer roast with dumplings and red cabbage ordered. One hour waited and the roast was lukewarm to cold, the red cabbage inedible. In addition, this was really not a real sour roast. The service was very good, the staff very friendly. We also liked the establishment of the restaurant very well. The dishes were freshly prepared and tasted very good. The price/performance ratio fits. We can recommend this restaurant without restriction.

We opted for the inn with roast potatoes and a side salad. Letzerer was seen very crisp and mi a finely tuned dressing. Far better than the classic and often boring supplement salad. The roast potatoes are excellent and the scavenger of excellent quality. It is superfluous to mention that the portions were Bavarian-luxury. The service was initially a bit in stress because a local on the opposite side of the road had to be supplied. But still friendly and accommodating at any time. The price level is absolutely reasonable and therefore our overall conclusion is also: excellent, fully recommended and we are happy to come back once again!
