"I have the pleasure to have a dinner Le Gaulois when i was at Yamaguchi-ken sometime in July this year !! I absolutely enjoyed my 3 course meal !!! The food was sumptuous!! I can not remember what they call the dishes i had from the entree to my dessert but each one of them is delicious !! I quite enjoyed the lovely ambienance of Le Gaulois !! It is squeaky clean , you can even have a pleasant trip to a very clean modern toilet you can sleep there !!! Parking is not a problem, they have a lot of car space which will easily accomodate 20 cars i thought !"

"Ten CBs, ie pilsner, awarded pale ale, wizen, stout, IPA, top-awarded yamadanishiki(rice)-based lager, Hagi-yuzu ale, local bitter, strawberry ale and barley wine. All of them are far from boring and distinguished! Austrian-German style foods and decorations with classical music shower. Reasonable prices, flights of four for 890yen and all ten for 1,980yen, also choices ranged from small glass for 490yen to pitcher for 2,790yen. Access is the only issue with complete darkness after sunset to/from the closest bus stop, a half-mile away. Bus comes every 20 min. Nevertheless, I wanna come again -its amazing barley wine isn't available elsewhere!"

"It is a small cozy restaurant directly on the main street. timings are convenient (especially for late dinner after a long working day). make sure they tell them that they are vegetarian (they do not understand vegan) before they order. the veg curries are absolutely delicious. they are served with a part rice. they can set the level of the seasoned (1-10), but intentionally, everything more than 5 can literally put their mouth on fire! there is also an option to choose the portion size."

"This small café is run by a very sweet couple in Yamaguchi. They seem to constantly adapt their menu on the basis of their harvest, as all the vegetables they use in their dishes seem to grow on their farm. I ordered a lunch plate containing a huge, fresh salad, some cucumbers, curry and rice and some fresh vegetables. The lunch set is usually vegetarian as the dressings they use have eggs from the chickens they have on the company, but when I asked that it be made vegan, they simply used the vegan dressings for me without problem. In addition to the order area there is a very nice seating area. But since it's such a little business, with the couple running everything, the waiting period was very, very long, since many people had come..."
