We took our visiting relative to Hops Saturday evening for dinner After a beer at the bar we got a table.

We have been to Hops many times but I've never written a review before so here goes First off, we love Holland and go there quite often.

"Gyros are fantastic, but Pommes were not cooked by the last visits. Fries were not completely cooked. The Italian beef and gros are always exceptional and they also have great Chicago Dogs."

"Went there tonight and pleasantly surprised to see 2 Tempeh sandwiches on the menu. One was the Rueben and the other a burger. I ordered the Rueben but had to hold the swiss cheese and sauce. The waitress was alert enough to tell me the sauce wasn't vegan when I asked if there was a vegan cheese substitute. She brought some French's mustard and I was happy. My question is why would there be a partial vegan sandwich with Tempeh? If they're trying to have vegan options, make the whole sandwich vegan, no? Maybe just trying to make a vegetarian happy... but now time to go the extra mile for us vegans..Anyway, glad to see some vegan options even if they needed to be tweaked."

"Food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. Came here for an anniversary, the staff had signed a card for us. I thought that was a nice touch. Evan was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was incredible. Best scallops we have ever had. Had a great time and a wonderful meal. We will be back!"
