Can be recommended. Staff nice and friendly. The pizzas are great, the floor is pink, a real Italian pizza. Very conscientious control of the Corona rules. An evening to feel good. View all feedback.
Lunchtime on Saturday 5.07.14. We cannot remark about the food as we were so rudely treated we left before ordering! As we entered we were asked quite abruptly if we were there to eat, which we said we were and were seated at a table. The same waiter gave us menus & took our drinks order. The waiter then returned, removed the place settings and wiped down the table throwing crumbs all over us. We were then told to move our menus out of the way whilst he abruptly relaid the table. The cloth table mats he had placed unknown to us on the back of my husbands chair whilst my husband was sitting on it. He did not request my husband lean forward so he could remove them, he just ripped them out from behind him. Whilst we were waiting to place our food order we saw a table outside had become free & we requested to move from inside to outside, to which we were told 'Then if you go out there you can stay out there!' At this point we decided to pay for our drinks & find another restaurant of which there are many in this market square area. We walked a few metres away and were made very welcome at the Restaurant Magic Sofra where we enjoyed a nice lunch with good and friendly service.
I am an Italian and I am happy to visit Italian restaurants abroad. Nevertheless, it was one of the few places that were open in wood mines, so I almost had no choice. I was surprised by the atmosphere and the quality of food. The restaurant is picturesque,... right in the city centre, offers good Italian music and an excellent selection of wines (very good quality). I was treated very well. The manager is friendly and welcoming. Service is fast. I had a mixed salad as a starter. It tasted like the salad prepared by my mother! The main course was homemade fusilli with porcini mushroom. Absolutely authentic Italian food. The wine was a glass of Chianti (red wine, excellent quality). I highly recommend this place. Central location, good food and cozy surroundings.
Under the beautiful high platens on the market, in an old, well maintained factory house is this pizzeria. here the house and the very tasty and with fresh ingredients. now during the pandemic it was advantageous that before pizzeria was covered and the guests could feed locally. the local is modern and beautifully furnished, all clean and well maintained. some steps must be forced into the local or toilet town. we have eaten here often on the afternoon. the food is served quickly, although it is well visited before the place. whether pizza, salad or pasta, so far everything we have tried was very delicious. the wet told us all recipes come from the Italian oma and mama of italy. the aromatic fragrance that flows out of the kitchen, reminds of vacation and Mediterranean flair.
We had great pizzas today. A great boss. Very friendly. We can only recommend.
Very good Italian restaurant in the centre of Holzminden. The best calzone I've had for a long time. Local beer was also very delicious. Small, traditional German town on the Weser River in northern Germany. To admire many typical old German buildings.
