Food is bomb! But the service blows. Forgot what we ordered, then messed up the order, and kept forgetting all the details (i.e. utensils, drinks, napkins, etc.

"We were recommended this by a friend back home in Georgia and we were not disappointed. The Syrian kale/pistachio salad was a perfect way to start our dinner. Followed by a Ling Cod special and Salmon Udon bowl. Topping that off with the walnut brownie made for one of the most fantastic dinners we experience not just in Alaska but anywhere."

"My only complaint about the alibi is that I would be 100% satisfied with ANYTHING on their menu... what makes it incredibly difficult to decide what I want to order! Everything on the menu is excellent, and the alibi is always my #1 suggestion when someone asks me where to eat in Homer. Some of my favorite isomer memories include late nights in alibi, and fish tacos at midnight."

"Wow, so grateful that we stumbled on this place, what a jewel! We wanted to eat at Finn's pizza, but it was closed when we were in Homer. I hadn't heard about Homeslice yet, but after I had given it an attempt, it's now the place I definitely want to come back to when I'm back in town! This sweet little spot on the Spit has a welcoming atmosphere and offers fantastic and surprisingly fast food to go on or off. The veggie calzone was one of the best I've ever had, and I'm kind of obsessed with Calzone. It loved that it’s cream cheese, as well as spinach, mushrooms, artichokes and a pesto sauce that I overheard describe to another customer as so tasty they would only drink like a drink (can’t blame them! We also tried the sandwich, a Halibut-Po’boy and I was again super impressed. The fish managed to taste light and was perfectly seasoned, only a touch of salt and pepper and nothing to get fresh in the way of quality. Greens were a step above your average sandwich salad, the bread was perfect for a Po'boy, but the real standout was the sauce, with its full taste and perfect balance. Servers were also really nice and my food came out quickly – cannot wait to come back to Homeslice! Homer has a new kind of pizza!!"

"I cannot recommend this place enough! I just beat the breakfast rush before 9AM on a weekday and was able to snag a seat inside. That is honestly the only downside as it's slightly stressful with table hawks Otherwise this is the best value on the Spit.Smoked salmon benedict with greens and perfectly poached eggs, fruit and breakfast potatoes for $16. Oh and the coffee iscomplementary! There was also a daily special...open faced ham egg breakfast sandwich which was superb. Almost hate for thesecret to get out even more but they deserve the love! Go see them for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed."
