I enjoyed my meal and dessert! I lived here for two years and finally eat, and the price was good to complete it. The atmosphere for a Friday night was nice also with very lively and upscale decor, as I like my Mexican restaurants. I'm glad I have to eat there before the Summer Crush crowds. View all feedback.

In far out Alaska, Don Jose serves food that is Mexican like. The flavors and ingredients are like adjusted to local muted tastes. Still, most dishes will remind you of Mexican food. We ordered guacamole made at the table but got a not very tasty goop with some chips (do not order, make do with the free salsa ask for the spicy one, it is not spicy). Great food service. Chips salsa cost extra now, $4.50. It was such a nice evening, sitting outside on the deck was a must!
