"My friend from work recommended this place. Everything there is delicious I ordered the steak rice the steak is very juicy with flavor. I made everyone at the table try it the ladies loved it! The dessert was fried vanilla ice cream with loads of whipped topping. Y'all gotta try this creamy sweet treat! The customer service is superb the meals came out within 10 mins. "We stopped by Shiver's BBQ for lunch and ordered sandwiches (powder, brisket and a Hickory BBQ hamburger). All were delicious, especially the pulled pig. It's excellent! There was also a very good selection of pages, and each side was comfort food best. We enjoyed BBQ beans, hush puppies, cheesy hashbrown casserole, cornbread souffle', and jalapeno cheese grottes. Each side tasted homemade and full of taste. Shiver is not a beautiful place. Guests are placed on long picnic style tables with rolls of paper towels and grill sauce. So, leave your chic clothes at home and simply enjoy Shiver's for what it is: great food in a very casual, comfortable environment. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the prices were appropriate for the quality and quantity of food. We like lunch here!"
