"I feel terrible to leave this review because years ago carawanna was getting eaten was such a tasty bite. the chili had earlier a brighter color, with the meat of fine broken (no lump.) it was more like a sauce than this bean tasteless meat. this was dark, pasty and in a ground without this old carawanna distinctive taste. the fries were not completely cooked. even if we got them with chili, the pommes on the floor also lacked cripples. we had a similar experience in the summer, but I was hoping that was just a free day. that is probably the “new” carawanna. no fan."

"My aunt and uncle have brought me here twice to eat and I absolutely love this place! The server we had was so sweet and she explained all the specials and what they were. The food is amazing! If you have a huge appetite, this is your place to eat, theportions are huge! We always have leftovers. So, if you love Italian food like I do, this is the place to go, but on weekendsdefinitely make reservations, as everyone else loves this place too!"

"Cordero was one of the first places, if not the first place where my father moved 50 years ago to Honesdale. Since then our children and their children come when they are in town. Cordaro's family. Not only the Hometown crew that comes every Sunday to harass the staff, but all that go through the doors! We have wedding showers and funeral dinners there and the staff is great. They're not perfect-they forget to bring a refill. But they are all very conscientious for their customers! Food is great! I'm not a family. You can't go wrong with Cordero!!"
