Hank's Haute Dogs - Honolulu

Excellent food! This place reminded me of Gene and Jude's from O'Hare Airport. You have all the shirts of Iconic Chicago dogs standing up.

We stopped for lunch on a busy weekend. Waiting wasn't long, maybe 5 minutes. I ordered Hanks Franken. After listening to the popular TV shows about this place, I expected to be blown away. It's a hot dog. There's nothing special. The actual showtopper is the French fries the sauce. Now are perfection! The atmosphere was covered, all employees were nice, I loved the seats outside. It was secluded enough to relax, but still open to enjoy people watching.

Quality has been affected. When they first opened, it was a brilliant idea to use unusual meat to make a skinny dog. Last time I was here a few years ago. Still good. This time I ordered the Chicago. At first the rolls broke, a little stale. Hank's dog, I could make a better home. Many people come to try bcz from a write-up. So it's on the map. Lime soda still good. Outside the food is clean and cool with the bar over the promenade blowing music. Luckily I enjoyed it, Funk/r

I applaud the effort and the inventive menu. Our dogs were good, but the rolls were so easy. My bun fell apart before I could even pick him up, and half of it felt stabbed. And I opened it within 2 minutes. Good service. Fries were good and the cheese sauce was delicious. It's good, but don't expect the world.

Delicious hot dogs! I usually get a Chicago dog, but they have all types of options. The pineapple ice is such a nice treat for a hot day.
