Family owned by the sweetest Israeli family. You can really say the owner Sagi is passionate about what he does and it shows in his food. I always get her falafel mixed plate (vegetarian option) and it is absolutely divine! The falafel is crispy and soooo tasteful. Aubergines cooked for perfection. Side salads also refreshing. Very recommended. Last but not least.... her house made pita is BOMB! They do not use prese... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shaloha Pita:
The food is bad without taste at all. Always say let the original food for it is original people and don?t try on us for fun and money. The Falafel is full of oil and cold. Shawarma is not a Shawarma, so in this case I will call it ?plastic wrap. Hummus is not fresh and it is skillful. The place is not clean and dirty from inside and outside. The owner Oh boy sooo arrogant when I told him about the food as advice for... View all feedback.
This place is so delicious! It may seem expensive at first, but it is so much food when you get one of their plates!! I have more and more food for delicious food. I get the mixed plate and it's delish!
I was happy to eat here as I am an Israeli and just moved to Hawaii. I grew up in Raanana Ramat Gan, so I know authentic Israeli food. I was a little disappointed as my pita was very boiled and had a doughy texture with a lot of flour on the left. The Falafel balls were heavier than I used, and there was no taste of spices. The salads did not taste at home, but that could be changed with some lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper. The eggplant was delicious. My desire for authentic Israeli food was satisfied, but I won?t write this place right now. I'll try again before I made this decision. Oddly, I had expected Israelis to welcome me and prepare my food, but that didn't happen. But that's not a mistake, I was hoping for some confidentiality when I found this place. I was thrilled by the idea not to be the only Israeli in Hawaii.
I love her food. It is a mini experience of Israel. Food is only delish!! My favorite is her falafel! You made Pita bread home. They sell them through the bag, but every meal comes with Pita. You won't regret it!! Get the Shaloha plate. It has everything in it.
Fresh delicious dishes with large portions and a fair price. Highly recommend. Limonana is also very refreshing mint lemonade drink ?
Got the falafel and enjoyed it! Tasty stuff, and a real Mediterranean taste! Best if all, the young man who took our order couldn't have been kinder! It makes me want them to succeed!
