Port Cafe from HOPETOUN Menu

What User likes about Port Cafe:
The bar area was open for lunch- and has a great water view. We were a little early for lunch- but they bought the kids meals out asap- also made a special just cheese toastie for our 5 year old. The prawn salad was fresh, the chicken parmie was a whole chicken breast. Could not fault the service. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Port Cafe:
BLT came smothered in cheap bbq sauce as did the burger - menu did not mention sauce let alone the fact that they had drowned the food in it. Cheese was not melted and the burger had not been warmed enough to melt it. When advising the waitress no comment was made except to present the bill! Coupled with a flat beer it was a very poor start to a couple of days in Hopetoun. Very pleased not to be staying at the hotel. View all feedback.

very, very busy part of the hotel. we had not booked and were surprised to see how many people were there. has managed to eat, but in the pub part of the hotel....

Arrived in the lobby to be guided ustairs to the cafe to find ourselves in a mini mart with beautiful fresh produce etc, Burger was good and fish fillets great.

"Interesting little shop a bit quirky. We had excellent fish and chips with very generous portions (buy less than you think) Sells quite a bit of grocery and meat Imagine this a town full of oldies and this is the only guy who...does lactose free coffee (wake up Hopetoun lactose messes you up as you age and this is actual barista everyone else was using some evil little machines. Best value eating in Hopetoun."
