baking bar worthwhile. rich snacks and very good menu, with a pilgrim atmosphere and fresh beer. the best was the attention, especially of a young boy who was looking forward to everything and giving solutions to any problem. Gosh I had a really different experience to those that I have read of here. I too arrived after the walk from Burgos, but my arrangements meant that I was going back to Burgos overnight. I had a couple of hours to kill and did so in the bar area. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. To be fair there was not a lot of trade apart from a handful of walkers and the rest being locals.
