What Chris Berry likes about The George Of Stamford:
Oak room lunch Bread was very hard I was told, not enough butter. King prawn Tempura would have been nicer taken out of the shell and head. All mains very good Sherry trifle, not enough cream layer way to much fruit sponge. Excellent service, but it should be on a £500 lunch in a grand old restaurant. Round table moved away from the wall so the staff could reach each customer better 8/10 enjoyed it thanks Service: 5 View all feedback.
