"We were lost in the village and stopped in this Cafe to ask for help. The staff went out of their way to help us. Their kindness was greatly appreciated. Although we just had tea and coffee the cozy surroundings were relaxing after a frustrating morning. I would love to return."

"Nice clean premises with extensive homemade food offering, from snacks to main meals. We opted for homemade vegetable soup and a “standard” breakfast. The soup was a generous serving in a good sized bowl served with a fresh white warm crusty roll and a large slice of butter. Excellent. The breakfast consisted of a good quality “butchers” sausage, a nice rasher of bacon, baked beans, a lovely poached egg scrambled was an option), mushrooms which were preferred to the listed tomatoes and two thick slices of brown granary toast, well buttered. All excellent, well cooked and presented. Will have no hesitation in visiting this eatery again. Good food and good value. Thank you to all concerned."
